Are you ready to lend your voice to a powerful story of defiance, justice, and humanity? The ARTx3 Campus is seeking performers for a stylized readers' theater presentation of Prometheus Bound, the timeless Greek tale by Aeschylus, in a modern translation by Bryan Doerries.

This innovative production reimagines the story of Prometheus—imprisoned for giving humanity the spark of life—as a reflection of the social injustices faced by Black men in America. With themes of courage, resilience, and inequitable justice, this performance aims to create a poignant tribute to the ongoing struggles and triumphs of BIPOC communities.

The audition will be an open, cattle-call format. Performers should complete the form to register and select two sides to read. For performers ages 18 and older.

J. Tyler directs, with Portia S. Jones as assistant director.
