From backpacks to pencils, crayons and more, our children need these supplies to explore! We’ll take donations of all kinds to help expand our young scholars’ minds.
If you want to help make a difference in the lives of students in our community, here's the perfect opportunity! Drop off new school supplies, and they will be distributed to children who attend our Second Saturday Family FunDay on Aug. 8. Any remaining items from the drive will be donated to a local school.
Supplies needed (but not limited to) include: #2 pencils, erasers, pens (black, blue, and red), composition books, notebooks (college ruled and wide ruled), loose-leaf notebook paper (college ruled and wide ruled), crayons, color pencils, pencil sharpeners, markers, highlighters, and folders (2-pocket, 3-pronged).
Supplies are accepted during business hours (10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday) through Aug. 8 at the Arts & Science Center, 701 S. Main St. in Pine Bluff, or partnering organizations (see list at the bottom).
Monetary donations to purchase supplies are also accepted. To give online, visit our Donation page. Select your donation amount and select "School Supply Drive" under "Apply to a Specific Fund?" Donations are also accepted in person or over the phone; call 870-536-3375.
Are you a local business or organization? Become a drop-off site yourself! Contact J. Tyler Lewis at jtlewis@artx3.org for more information about participating.
